Greetings
Our company was established in 1913 by Masayoshi Hori who had the ideal “Prevention and treatment of illnesses for sustaining life” and had the company credo “For the world and for the people”, and, since then, has developed and manufactured medicines based on natural drugs over the long period of 100 years. Especially, the “Kyushin” cardiotonics gains an excellent reputation and trust from home and overseas customers now.
Japan is facing the world-class long-lived society, and the concern for health by the people has increased more and more. We will offer anxiety-free and safe OTC drugs to respond to the people’s expectations and bear a part of self-medication in the future.

| Feb. 1913 | Masayoshi Hori established "Hori Hakuai Yakubo" in Tajima-cho, Asakusa-ku (present, Nishi-Asakusa 2-chome, Taito-ku), Tokyo. |
| Sep. 1923 | Moved the store to Okazaki-cho, Kyobashi-ku (present, Hacchobori 2-chome, Chuo-ku). |
| Jul. 1933 | Changed business name to "Kyushin Seiyaku Sho". |
| Mar. 1938 | Moved the factory to Wada Honcho, Suginami-ku (present, Wada 1-chome) for production facility expansion. |
| May 1945 | Burned down 2nd factory (Nishi-Osaki 1-chome, Shinagawa-ku) by air raids. |
| Mar. 1946 | Moved the 2nd factory (Nerima Factory) to Nerima-cho 5-chome, Itabashi-ku (present, Nerima 4-chome, Nerima-ku). |
| Mar. 1947 | Separated the sales department for independence and established "Hori Trading Co., Ltd.". Masayoshi Hori took office as a president of the company. Only manufacturing department was left as "Kyushin Seiyaku Sho". |
| Jan. 1950 | "Hori Trading Co., Ltd." and "Kyushin Seiyaku Sho" were merged to form "Kyushin Pharmaceutical Co., Ltd.". Masayoshi Hori became a president of the company. |
| Dec. 1964 | Built the head office building on present place. |
